Privacy Policy
Empower the Room respects your privacy. This policy explains the information we collect through this website and how we use it.
Information you provide
When you join our list, submit a booking inquiry, propose a guest or panel appearance, contact us about a partnership, or enter an open call, we may collect your name, email address, organization, social handle, interests, written response, audio or video link, display preference and permission selections.
How we use information
We use submitted information to respond to requests, evaluate opportunities, provide requested updates, improve our programming and communicate about Empower the Room. For open calls, we may review submitted material, contact the participant and use selected material under the permissions accepted at submission. If you choose private research only, we will use the submission for internal evaluation and program development rather than publication. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers
We may use trusted providers for website hosting, email delivery, analytics, forms, file, audio or video hosting, payments and event registration. They process information only as needed to provide their services.
Your choices
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link included in each message. You may also request access, correction or deletion of information you submitted by contacting us through the website. For an open call, contact us as soon as possible if you wish to withdraw before publication; we will honor reasonable requests where practical, but cannot guarantee removal from uses already produced, distributed or required to be retained.
Security and retention
We use reasonable safeguards and retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described, legal obligations and legitimate business records.
Updates
We may revise this policy as the platform grows. The updated date at the top will reflect the latest version.
This initial policy should be reviewed by qualified counsel before the open call is promoted broadly.
